FPA EXAMPREP’s AFCAT Classes feature a comprehensive curriculum designed to cover all aspects of the AFCAT examination. Our curriculum is structured to prepare candidates for both the AFCAT written exam and the subsequent Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview. The curriculum includes:

• Verbal Ability in English: Emphasizes on comprehension passages, grammar, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, and testing vocabulary.

• Numerical Ability: Covers basic arithmetic and number system.

• Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test: Includes verbal skills and spatial ability.

Our experienced faculty, many of whom have served in the armed forces, deliver engaging lectures and interactive sessions to ensure clarity and depth of understanding. We emphasize practical application through problem-solving exercises, case studies, and mock tests to simulate exam conditions.

In addition to classroom teaching, we provide comprehensive study materials such as textbooks, practice papers, and online resources. The AFCAT is conducted by the Indian Air Force twice a year for recruitment into the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches. The examination consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and is conducted online. Here are the key details of the AFCAT exam:

• Sections: The AFCAT exam includes questions from Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning and Military Aptitude, and General Awareness.

• Duration: The AFCAT exam duration is 2 hours.

• Marking Scheme: Each correct answer is awarded 3 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

Candidates who qualify the AFCAT written exam are called for the AFSB interview. The AFSB interview is conducted over several days and includes various tests to assess candidates’ suitability for a career in the Air Force. The tests include Officer Intelligence Rating Test, Psychological Tests, Group Tests, and Personal Interview.
