The SSC MTS exam curriculum is designed to test the candidate’s proficiency in various subjects, assessing their ability to handle the responsibilities of the Multi-Tasking Staff role. At FPA EXAMPREP, our curriculum is aligned with the official SSC syllabus, ensuring that our students receive focused and relevant instruction.

1. General Intelligence and Reasoning: This section assesses the candidate’s logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities. Topics include analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, and reasoning based on figures, numbers, and verbal data.
2. General Awareness: This section evaluates the candidate’s knowledge of current events and their understanding of the world around them. Topics include history, culture, geography, economics, general policy, scientific research, and current affairs. Special emphasis is placed on India and its neighboring countries.
3. Numerical Aptitude: This section tests the candidate’s numerical ability and mathematical skills. Topics include number systems, computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions, the relationship between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, and time and work.
4. English Language: This section assesses the candidate’s understanding of the English language, including vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, and comprehension. Candidates are tested on their ability to read, write, and understand English.

Our curriculum is designed to provide comprehensive coverage of each subject, with detailed study materials, practice exercises, and mock tests. 1. Paper I: This is a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions. It is divided into four sections:
   • General Intelligence and Reasoning: 25 questions, 25 marks
   • General Awareness: 25 questions, 25 marks
   • Numerical Aptitude: 25 questions, 25 marks
   • English Language: 25 questions, 25 marks

The total duration of Paper I is 90 minutes. For visually handicapped candidates, the duration is extended to 120 minutes. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

1. Paper II: This is a descriptive paper conducted in pen-and-paper mode. It is designed to test the candidate’s basic language skills, which are essential for the duties of the Multi-Tasking Staff. Candidates are required to write a short essay or letter in English or any language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. The total marks for Paper II are 50, and the duration is 30 minutes (45 minutes for visually handicapped candidates).

The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in both Paper I and Paper II, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria and document verification. Candidates who qualify for Paper I are eligible to appear for Paper II, and the merit list is prepared based on the combined scores of both papers.
