The SSC GD exam curriculum is designed to assess a candidate’s proficiency in various subjects, evaluating their ability to handle the responsibilities of a General Duty constable. At FPA EXAMPREP, our curriculum is aligned with the official SSC syllabus, ensuring that our students receive focused and relevant instruction.

1. General Intelligence and Reasoning: This section assesses the candidate’s logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities. Topics include analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision-making, visual memory, and reasoning based on figures, numbers, and verbal data.


2. General Knowledge and General Awareness: This section evaluates the candidate’s knowledge of current events and their understanding of the world around them. Topics include history, culture, geography, economics, general policy, scientific research, and current affairs. Special emphasis is placed on India and its neighboring countries.


3. Elementary Mathematics: This section tests the candidate’s numerical ability and mathematical skills. Topics include number systems, computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions, relationships between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, and time and work.


4. English/Hindi Language: This section assesses the candidate’s understanding of the English or Hindi language, including vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, and comprehension. Candidates are tested on their ability to read, write, and understand the chosen language.

1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE): This is an objective-type exam consisting of multiple-choice questions. The CBE is divided into four sections:
   • General Intelligence and Reasoning: 25 questions, 25 marks
   • General Knowledge and General Awareness: 25 questions, 25 marks
   • Elementary Mathematics: 25 questions, 25 marks
   • English/Hindi: 25 questions, 25 marks

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualify in the CBE are eligible to appear for the PET. The PET is designed to assess the physical fitness of candidates through tasks such as running, long jump, and high jump. The specific requirements vary based on gender and category.


2. Physical Standard Test (PST): The PST evaluates the physical measurements of candidates, including height, chest (for male candidates), and weight. Candidates must meet the prescribed standards to qualify for this stage.


3. Detailed Medical Examination (DME): Candidates who qualify in the PET and PST are called for the DME. This stage involves a thorough medical examination to ensure that candidates are medically fit for the rigorous duties of a General Duty constable.

The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in the CBE, PET, PST, and DME, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria and document verification. The merit list is prepared based on the combined scores of the CBE and the physical tests.
